Mike Fanelli

Mike Fanelli’s path has been shaped by structure, reinvention, and a consistent pull toward people and place.

He began his career with 17 years in the corporate world, working in technology and operations where systems, performance, and accountability were central. Over time, he felt the draw toward something more human and tangible, which led him into real estate in Canada around 2010.

In 2013, he moved to Latin America, where he built and operated a property management company in Costa Rica, growing it into a 17-person team and managing dozens of properties for international homeowners. That experience deepened his understanding of responsibility, trust, and working across cultures. He later continued in real estate in the Mayan Riviera before eventually arriving in San Miguel de Allende, where he chose to stay and build a life aligned with his own direction.

In parallel with his work in real estate over the past two and a half years, Mike has focused on marketing, strategy, psychology, and content creation, studying brand positioning and working closely with some of the top coaches in the industry to refine how he communicates and builds recognition.

Mike is the youngest of six, raised in an Italian family, which shaped his values around connection, resilience, and family. Alongside his professional path, he is an ICF-certified coach and long-time advocate for men’s mental health, supporting others through conversation, community, and personal development.

Outside of work, he enjoys nature, mountain biking, and continued growth through personal development.
